Hi @lwasser are meetings always Thursdays at 11 GMT? Sorry if this is explained in a post somewhere and I’m just missing it.

I wanted to participate in this one but I didn’t see the announcement until the day before and by then I already had other obligations.

Thank you! I will try to do a better job of keeping my eye on the Discourse for the next announcement

hey @NickleDave !! great question! i’ve done a bad job of providing advanced notice. i should post a schedule but we’ve been holding them every 3 weeks on thursday at that time (11am mountain). i wonder if there is a way to create a standing google calendar invitation to the meeting or something for people to add to their calendars? What would work for you?

I was using outlook for a while but that becomes difficult to manage to ensure everyone sees it and gets updates (i have to manually add people).

Knowing that it’s every 3 weeks helps, thank you @lwasser!
Just saw the tweet for the next one too and I’ve got it in my calendar.

Maybe just making a public Google calendar for PyOpenSci and having it linked somewhere would be a solution? I don’t know how best to make it visible though. Does Discourse lets you “pin” topics somewhere that they’re easy to see?
