thank you @choldgraf for posting this!!!

A quick thought for a topic to discuss (I’m traveling during the meeting today, sadly!):

  • How opinionated should we be about the “right” way to do things in Python? Many decisions are ultimately subjective, though at the same time the value of POS is in its ability to improve the state of repositories in a consistent way.
  • What should we do if the submission author disagrees with feedback given from reviewers? Is there a process for discussing and resolving differences in opinion?

Great suggestions @choldgraf
we definitely need to discuss these items. I suspect however that we won’t get to everything on the agenda now as it stands.so the question is – do we have or atleast start these types of conversations on slack? or here instead? i also wanted to ask ropensci how they handle these items!!any thoughts on how we make decisions as we have so many more to make?
